| Cris Collinsworth's hoarse voice raises concern among NFL fans on social media | | Sep 12, 2022 | | NFL fans who tuned in to watch the Dallas Cowboys take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first game of the regular season on Sunday night expressed concerns for Cris Collinsworth. Collinsworth, the longtime NBC broadcaster, assumed his regular role as color commentator alongside Mike Tirico, to call the game for the first "Sunday Night Football" broadcast of 2022. However, it sounded like Collinsworth was sick. His hoarse voice was on the mind of those watching the game. It was enough for Tirico and Collinsworth to address his health in the first quarter of the game. "I feel great," Collinsworth said. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM Tirico replied: "You feel fine, it’s just two games, three days, red eyes, a bunch of travel. My man’s playing hurt." PANTHERS TAKE ISSUE WITH OFFICIATING IN FINAL MOMENTS OF LOSS TO BROWNS Still, Collinsworth was being talked about on social media. The Buccaneers led the Cowboys at halftime 12-3. Both teams were having issues with their offensive lines as both teams have injuries to their personnel groups. The Cowboys sacked Tom Brady twice in the first half even as they allowed him to go 11-for-16 for 160 yards. The team did lose Chris Godwin to a hamstring injury. Both teams were trying to start the year off on the right foot. | | | | | Steve Hilton exposes the Democrats' 'hypocrisy': It's not just Joe Biden | | Sep 12, 2022 | | Fox News host slammed President Biden and members of the Democratic Party's "hypocrisy" on "The Next Revolution." STEVE HILTON: Biden said someone is a threat to democracy if they, "fail to condemn violence when it's used," which would include Joe Biden, who still hasn't condemned the political violence of summer 2020, or, in fact, a Las Vegas Democrat official's brutal murder of an investigative journalist earlier this week. Moving on. BIDEN SAYS "MAGA REPUBLICANS" THREATEN DEMOCRACY AS HE AND DEMS CRANK UP ANTI-TRUMP RHETORIC AHEAD OF MIDTERMS Who else is a threat to democracy? According to Biden, "anyone who refuses to acknowledge an election has been won." Oh, so what? Like the person he was desperate to make his vice president, who still hasn't acknowledged that the 2018 Georgia governor election was won by her opponent and then the other people who are threats to democracy, according to Biden, are those, I guess we should call them semi-fascists who, "insist upon changing the way in which we count votes, that is a threat to democracy." Yeah, a threat to democracy, insisting on changing the rules for elections like, I don't know, exploiting the pandemic to push mail-in voting, even though the 2005 Jimmy Carter James Baker commission warned, "that absentee ballots were the largest source of potential voter fraud" or like pushing the totally corrupt Banana Republic atrocity of ballot harvesting. Democrats have already done that in several states. BIDEN SAYS TRUMP SUPPORTERS NOT A THREAT TO COUNTRY AFTER SPEECH BLASTING "MAGA REPUBLICANS" Well, how about disgraced former Attorney General Eric Holder's corrupt gerrymandering scheme, or in fact, the Democrats' flagship legislation, H.R. 1, The For the People Act later the Freedom to Vote Act, which is almost entirely about changing the rules to tilt elections forever in the Democrats' favor. It's amazing. They really have persuaded themselves that Trump is so bad. Anything you do to try and stop him, even if it's undemocratic, is protecting democracy. "In between our elections, a lot happens to this country that is not subject to elections and no longer subject to representative government," Levin said. "Did you support somehow somewhere or vote for open borders, where fentanyl and illegal immigrants and MS-13 and drug cartels can operate freely on our border creating anarchy, death, rape, all kinds of horrors taking place there? " He then pivoted to other issues, suggesting that America has become increasingly unrecognizable, as cultural shifts have radically reshaped it from the top down. "Did someone run for office saying they would destroy women’s sports, or you couldn’t define what a woman is?" he asked. "And I could go on and on and on. What happens between the elections, is as important as what happens on election day." FBI OFFICIALS SLOW-WALKED HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP INVESTIGATION UNTIL AFTER 2020 ELECTION: WHISTLEBLOWERS He emphasized his point that much of what goes on in the most powerful American institutions happens without the American public giving their say. "We have ceased to be a representative government, so much of what is going on now the ‘authorities’ as I will call them, they make the decisions." He followed by warning that institutions from major media networks to academia have become ideologically radical. Levin used California as an example of a once promising region that powerful elites have ruined with experimental ideological agendas. "Economically, look at California. What used to be the most prosperous, innovative, entrepreneur-friendly state in the country 20 years ago is now moving closer and closer to an economy akin to North Korea," he said. ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVIST WARNS OF ‘DIRE’ ELECTRICITY CRISIS IN CALIFORNIA: ‘INCOMPETENCE PILED ON IDEOLOGY’ Levin backed up his comparison by noting Californians are facing rolling blackouts and other infrastructure-related problems, "they can’t put their lights on at night, they can’t drive their electric cars when they wanna drive their electric cars, they don’t have enough water, in other words they don’t have the basics." The Fox News host reiterated his point about a class of powerful activists in government and powerful institutions who can impose their ideological agendas on the American public. "You have a relative handful of people deciding how we’re going to live based on their ideologies, based on their belief systems, their belief systems become reality for you, you have to live under these conditions, this is completely opposite of what this country was intended to be," he said. | | | | | Bubba Wallace captures second NASCAR Cup Series win at Kansas | | Sep 12, 2022 | | Bubba Wallace failed to make the NASCAR playoffs this season but took solace in the opportunity to keep some of his rivals out of the next round of the postseason with a win Sunday. On Monday, a federal judge ordered that a special master be appointed to review the files seized from Trump’s home. This marked the latest development following the original FBI raid in August. "This case presents so many complex and interesting twists and turns, things we’ve never really seen before. As you’ve indicated, I can’t think of a case in 25 years in the criminal justice system where a special master was appointed, a criminal case that is," Tolman remarked. Despite its unique announcement, Tolman commended the decision as a step forward in transparency as the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI face more scrutiny by the public. TRUMP ATTORNEY WHO WAS FORMER DOJ OFFICIAL QUESTIONS DEPARTMENT’S APPEAL OF SPECIAL MASTER "But at its heart, it’s an effort in transparency, and I think this judge is trying to do that. And that’s something that I think the nation is screaming for, because the transparency wasn’t there when they executed the warrant, when they secured the warrant, when they went through Mar-a-Lago. And the transparency that I think we’re all looking for is what were they doing when they were in there? Why did they get there to begin with? And did they follow the parameters of the search warrant. We still have many questions on each of those issues," Tolman said. Since the announcement of a special master, mainstream media outlets have attacked Judge Aileen M. Cannon for her decision due to her appointment under President Trump. "Yes, it is exasperating to actually listen to the left, you know, scream and whine about a judge that, you know, made a call based on what was presented to her. And I think did so erring on the side of having that transparency. You and I both know that agents, they get very aggressive during those searches, and they are looking for anything and everything that may fall within the parameters of that search warrant. This was a very broad warrant," Tolman said. TREY GOWDY SAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH II WAS A ‘FRIEND TO THE UNITED STATES’ While Tolman lamented the loss of trust in the DOJ, he also supported the use of a special master for this case. "There used to be a time when you really took the word of the DOJ because they had really honest and effective folks that would serve on a taint team for example. And I think that still applies, but this case doesn’t allow for that. This is a unique case, and I think we do need to have somebody as a referee to look at it and says ‘okay, I’m looking at this, I’m not connected or beholden to the Department of Justice, I’m not connected or beholden to Donald Trump, and I see here of the documents that need to be returned and here are the ones that seem to fit within the parameters of the search warrant,’" he concluded. CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP Host Trey Gowdy remarked, "I think she is tired of the leaks. A special master is less likely to leak than some members of the department." | | | | | Pete Davidson's sister Casey pays tribute to late firefighter father Scott on 9/11: 'We miss you' | | Sep 12, 2022 | | Pete Davidson's younger sister, Casey, honored their late firefighter father, Scott, with a moving tribute shared to Instagram Sunday to mark 21 years since the September 11 attacks. The Panthers had issues with two calls on the Browns’ final drive. The first problem came on the final drive when Jacoby Brissett was leading the charge down the field. Brissett dropped back and was hit by Panthers defensive end Brian Burns as he was throwing the ball. Burns was called for a roughing the passer penalty, though it didn’t appear the contact was excessive or out of the ordinary. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM Referee Brad Rogers said the flag was thrown because there was "forcible contact to the head and neck area," according to the Panthers’ website. Burns said after the game he didn’t think there was "forcible" contact. "We've had meetings on that to understand the new rules," he said. "My understanding was that if it wasn't blatantly like you said, forcible, they wouldn't call it. But I haven't seen the play yet, so I don't know exactly what happened. I know I was in a bull rush, I was moving the guy back, and they fell. That's all I know." LAMAR JACKSON ACCOUNTS FOR 3 TDS IN RAVENS VICTORY OVER JETS Christian McCaffrey called the penalty on Burns a "horrid call." Ahead of York’s field goal, Brissett got to the line of scrimmage in an attempt to snap the ball and spike it. He appeared to fake the spike first and then spike it, which the Panthers’ personnel thought would have been an intentional grounding call. If the penalty was called, the Browns would’ve taken a 10-second runoff and bring the game from 13 seconds left to 3 seconds. But that wasn’t the case. "I started screaming, intentional grounding, 10-second runoff, the game's about to be over," Panthers coach Matt Rhule said. "They obviously called it and changed it, and then it was told to me that he just pump-faked. … A lot of things at the end didn't go our way." Cleveland, instead, goes back home with a 1-0 record. The Panthers will look to get their first victory next week. | | | | | Steelers' social media troll Bengals amid overtime win, Joe Burrow's struggles | | Sep 12, 2022 | | The Pittsburgh Steelers nearly had to eat some trash talk during Sunday’s 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow had one of the worst first halves of any quarterback in NFL history when he tossed three interceptions and lost a fumble. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM He’s the second quarterback in the last 20 seasons to turn the ball over four times in the first half of the season, which included a strip-sack for the Steelers, per ESPN. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen did it in 2019 against the New York Jets. Burrow’s struggles in the first half prompted the Steelers’ social media team to troll the Bengals. The Bengals would eventually force overtime, and if it wasn’t for a few missed kicks by Evan McPherson, Cincinnati may have won and Pittsburgh would’ve had to face some of their own medicine. It didn’t turn out that way. STEELERS' CHRIS BOSWELL KICKS GAME-WINNING FIELD GOAL AFTER BENGALS COME BACK In overtime, Steelers kicker Chris Boswell had his first game-winning field-goal try doink off the crossbar, but his second try was good as time was nearly about to expire. Burrow finished with four interceptions on the day. Minkah Fitzpatrick had the first one, returning it back for a touchdown. Cameron Sutton, T.J.
